VETS Facility Services offers proactive maintenance and full-service repair for your HVAC, refrigeration and plumbing systems to protect the investment your company has made in its inventory, facility, equipment and staff.

Few things go as unnoticed and perhaps unappreciated as the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and plumbing systems in your building…until it breaks down! We experience extreme weather that can wreak havoc on the sensitive components in your industrial or commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration or plumbing equipment.

Failures can cause thousands of dollars in damage to your products, other building systems and equipment (burst pipes in the winter or overheated servers in the summer months) not to mention lost productivity and staff discomfort.

We specialize in assisting property managers and building owners with commercial facilities between 10,000 – 150, 000 sq. ft. Our clients come from a variety of industries like multi-unit residential, commercial condos, seniors’ homes, food production/processing facilities, hotels and municipalities.

 

HVAC SERVICE & REPAIRS

What’s the difference between service and maintenance? Think about your vehicle—when it breaks, your mechanic performs service repairs. When you change the fluids, that’s maintenance.  The same applies to HVAC and refrigeration equipment.  When it breaks, it requires service, but maintenance is required to help prevent a more expensive HVAC emergency service.

VETS Facility Services employs qualified HVAC-R Service Technicians and Plumbers (Indentured Apprentice and Journeymen Refrigeration Mechanics and Service Plumbers/Gas Fitters) who are capable of troubleshooting, diagnosing and quickly repairing your organization’s heating and cooling equipment regardless of the make or type of equipment. VETS understands that all service calls are an emergency and will respond promptly prioritizing the response by labeling the service request as:

Priority 1= Emergency repairs or replacement of components requiring immediate attention due to the possible impact to your business, or an immediate level of danger to the safety of persons, facility or equipment.

Priority 2 = Repairs or replacement of components that cause uncomfortable climate or building conditions.

Priority 3 = Proactive repairs or replacement of components that are able to be pre-planned as recommended during scheduled maintenance.

VETS Facility Services will be there for you in a pinch and takes pride in making sure your work environment is as comfortable as possible. AND, our agreement customers receive 24-hour service!

HVAC MAINTENANCE

Just like fluid changes and scheduled maintenance for your vehicle, the best way to prevent breakdowns is to keep your HVAC system properly maintained. Every system and customer has different needs, whether your plan is to extend the life of your equipment and reduce energy consumption, or simply enjoy the peace of mind of knowing that your equipment is maintained—we can create a program to fit any budget.

Extending equipment life and reducing operating costs is our specialty! Many of our customers choose a quarterly-maintenance program including seasonal inspections/startups (cooling in spring, heating in fall) as well as regular filter and belt replacements. This option allows our Facility Services technicians to keep a close eye on your system and provides you with regular feedback on the major components and where they are in their life cycle. We truly take ownership and responsibility for the good working order of your mechanical systems.

Regular maintenance does not necessarily mean that service calls won’t happen, but it does reduce the likelihood of a major breakdown at a potentially crucial time. Plugged filters and cracked belts can put undue stress on major components like heat exchangers and compressors, but with the proper maintenance this can be avoided. Regular maintenance will also reduce your overall operating costs and extend the life of your system, saving you thousands.
